North Philadelphia was buzzing with excitement this Saturday, November 5th ahead of today’s midterm election. A line of people stretched over a half mile up North Broad Street, all enthusiastically waiting to enter the Liacouras Center to see President Joe Biden, Former President Barack Obama, Senate hopeful Lt Gov. John Fetterman, and Governor candidate (and current Pennsylvania attorney general) Josh Shapiro.

While waiting for the aforementioned politicians to arrive Senator Sharif Street, Senator Vincent Hughes, Southwest’s Rep. Joanna McClinton, Rep. Brendan Boyle, Rep. Dwight Evans, Senator Bob Casey, and even Pennsylvania’s current Governor Tom Wolf spoke to the crowd about the importance of the November 8th election and about their endorsement of democrats Fetterman, Shapiro, and Davis.
