Salma Hayek is one of the many celebs embracing the sheer trend.

The stylish actor attended the New York City premiere of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish on Tuesday, December 13, in a dramatic gown that's giving sexy Cinderella vibes. I didn't know there was yet another sequel to the Shrek spin-off happening, but at least it's giving us fashion!

Hayek's Alexander McQueen gown features a sheer boned bodice with strategically placed silver embellishments that cascade down the front like icicles. Attached to the bodice are romantic sheer sleeves made of the same fabric as the gown's voluminous skirt.

The 56-year-old wore her dark hair in a relaxed, slightly straight and slightly wavy style that contrasts with the elegant dress. (Zoom in for a tiny stray braid!) For makeup, she went for a smoky eye and a pink lip. She kept the accessories simple, wearing some silver rings that match the embellishments.
